I opened a Loki Casino account on a Tuesday evening with £10 and a notebook to log each spin.
Loki Casino free spins gave me 85 spins across three offers over two weeks, and they returned £23.40 in total. £6.10 of that arrived as withdrawable cash. The other £17.30 needed £173 of wagering before I could touch it.
Free Spins Explained
A free spin is a slot round the casino pays for. You press spin, the reels turn at a stake Loki Casino sets, and any win lands in your account as bonus money. Your own balance stays where it was.
Bundles in my test ran from 10 to 100 spins, and each one locked to a named slot at 10p or 20p a spin. Fifty spins at 10p carry a face value of £5. Check the spin value before you check the spin count.
Do free spins pay real money? They do, once you clear the wagering attached to them. Wager-free spins skip that step and credit winnings to your cash balance.
The format appeals because it costs you nothing to try. You get a trial run on a slot before you put your own £10 behind it.
Types of Free Spins at Loki Casino
Casino free spins at Loki Casino come in five forms, and each pays out on its own timetable.
- Deposit-based free spins. A £10 deposit got me 50 spins on Big Bass Bonanza, credited seconds after the payment cleared. A £20 deposit raises the bundle to 100 spins. These carry 10x wagering on winnings.
- No deposit free spins. Loki Casino free spins no deposit offers appear rarely. I received 10 spins on Starburst after I verified my mobile number, with a £20 cap on winnings and a three day expiry. They returned £1.80.
- Wager-free free spins. A weekend promotion gave me 25 spins on Fishin' Frenzy for a £10 deposit. Winnings went to my cash balance and I withdrew the £6.10 the same evening.
- In-game free spins. A slot's own bonus round awards these. Three scatters on Book of Dead gave me 10 spins with an expanding symbol, and they cost no bonus balance.
- Demo free spins. Demo mode lets you play a slot with play money. Winnings from these spins cannot be withdrawn.
Pros and Cons of Free Spins
Pros
- You test a new slot without touching your own bankroll.
- Winnings can turn into real cash.
- Wager-free bundles pay to your cash balance with no playthrough.
- Claiming takes under a minute from the promotions page.
- Many bundles attach to recent releases, so you see new games early.
Cons
- Most bundles attach 10x wagering to winnings.
- Each bundle locks you to one slot.
- Spin values of 10p to 20p make headline counts look bigger than they are.
- Expiry windows run from three to seven days.
Free Spin Variations
Spin count and spin value both change what you receive. Twenty spins at 50p and 100 spins at 10p carry the same £10 face value, but they play differently. The 20 spin bundle swings harder, because a single 50p spin on Book of Dead can trigger a bonus round worth £30, while 10p spins grind out smaller wins.
Sizes at Loki Casino fell into a pattern. Sign-up offers gave 10 spins, wager-free weekend promotions gave 25, deposit bundles gave 50 or 100, and the daily drip gave 10 spins a day.
Bigger bundles do not always pay better in practice. My 25 wager-free spins returned £6.10 in cash. My 50 spin deposit bundle returned £15.50, and I had to wager it ten times before it became withdrawable. The smaller bundle left me with spendable money sooner.
Free Spins Terms and Conditions
Terms decide whether a bundle is worth claiming. Four checks catch most of the problems.
Start with the minimum deposit. Loki Casino asked for £10 on the 50 spin bundle and £20 on the 100 spin bundle. Decide whether you would deposit that amount without the spins attached.
Wagering comes next. A 10x requirement on an £8 win means £80 in bets before you can withdraw. Slots counted at 100% towards the target in my case, so a 20p spin cleared 20p of it. Compare that with a wager-free offer, where the £8 is yours at once.
Check the eligible game. Each of my bundles locked to a single title, and a high-volatility slot you dislike turns 50 spins into a chore.
Expiry catches people out. My no deposit spins lasted three days and the deposit bundle lasted seven. I played the no deposit spins within an hour of claiming them for that reason. Read the bonus terms on the promotion page before you press claim.
Best Slots for Free Spins
Bonus terms name the eligible games, so confirm those before you pick a favourite. Of the nine slots below, I played Big Bass Bonanza, Starburst, Fishin' Frenzy and Book of Dead with free spins. I tried the other five with my own stake.
| Slot | Provider | Features | Max Win (x stake) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Big Bass Bonanza | Pragmatic Play | Free Spins, Money Collect, Wild | 2,100x |
| Starburst | NetEnt | Expanding Wild, Re-spins | 500x |
| Fishin' Frenzy | Blueprint Gaming | Free Spins, Fisherman Wild | 5,000x |
| Book of Dead | Play'n GO | Free Spins, Expanding Symbol | 5,000x |
| Gonzo's Quest | NetEnt | Avalanche, Free Falls | 2,500x |
| Sweet Bonanza | Pragmatic Play | Tumble, Free Spins, Multipliers | 21,100x |
| Wolf Gold | Pragmatic Play | Money Respin, Free Spins | 2,500x |
| Gates of Olympus | Pragmatic Play | Tumble, Multipliers, Free Spins | 5,000x |
| Reactoonz | Play'n GO | Cluster Pays, Gargantoon | 4,570x |
Big Bass Bonanza paid £15.50 from 50 spins at 10p, and one fisherman wild round delivered £9.20 of it. Starburst paid in small, regular amounts, which suits a 10 spin no deposit bundle with a £20 cap. Fishin' Frenzy suited the wager-free weekend offer, because you can withdraw the £6.10 it paid without playing it again.
Daily Free Spins
Loki Casino free daily spins do not run as a permanent feature. Promotions rotate, and in my second week a drip offer appeared: deposit £20 and collect 10 spins a day for five days on Wolf Gold. I tracked it separately from the 85 spins above.
You have to log in to collect each day's spins. I forgot on day four, and Loki Casino did not carry those 10 spins over. The remaining 40 spins returned £7.40, which carried 10x wagering like the deposit bundle.
Spread spins suit short sessions. A single 50 spin bundle takes about ten minutes to play through, while five sets of 10 give you a reason to return and a small chunk to track. The promotions page showed an end date for this offer, and it ran for eight days.
